French electronic music’s premier power label Ed Banger Records and Etnies Plus have come together to collaborate and develop a shoe which they playful have dubbed “Ednies”, as with all design related elements with Ed Banger it features the work of the label’s in house artist So Me, in this case a personal joke between Busy P(owner of Ed Banger) and So Me on the soles of each shoe. There are three colors available black and white which is available at boutiques worldwide, and Red, which is only available via the web at the CoolCats website.

It seems to be a recent trend at least in the audiophile circles to use wood in their designs for both its sound quality, as well as for its pleasing looks.
Nixon it seems can’t avoid the trend, and have added a Light Wood Collection to their lines of watches and headphones. While we highly doubt the wooden veneering will do much to improve sound quality, it definitely adds a high end feel to their line with a beautiful contrasting sense of wood and metallic aesthetic.

By now most of you all are familiar with Kid Cudi’s Video with Drake and company shown below:

But a new version of the video popped up shortly this past week that featured both MGMT and Ratatat and then was quickly removed(a leak perhaps), and rumors soon spread that Kid Cudi was not happy with the performance of the video. It’s back however labeled as an alternate version(perhaps alternate is their term for hipster?) and we think it’s wonderfully surreal and extremely well done. It’s a nice departure from the usual formula used in hip hop videos:
